Brad Graduated from Ole’ Miss in 2000 with a degree in Marketing. In 2001 Brad and his sister Brooke Orrison Lewis opened the doors to a tiny 300 square foot BBQ take out on Hwy 57 between Ocean Springs and Vancleave, MS. Within 5 years The Shed had morphed into a 10,000 square foot, full fledged BBQ Joint with live Blues music and a ton and a half of meat coming out of the smoker each day. Today, Brad is Pitmaster at The Shed BBQ & Blues Joint as well as the captain of the Shed BBQ competition team. The Shed has been rated one of the top BBQ Joints in the nation for the last 12 years. In 2011 The Shed Sauce was rated #1 out of the top 100 sauces in the world. Brad and the family have also opened its own sauce factory called The Saucery in Ocean Springs. Brad has been chosen by the National BBQ Association to be on Meet the Masters panel in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, & 2015. Brad has appeared on many television shows including Food Network’s “The Shed” series. He and The Shed have also been featured in several national magazines and cookbooks such as Southern Living Magazine, Kingsford Big Book of BBQ and many more.
